Position: Quantity Surveyor for M&E Projects
Join a leading Tier 1 Contractor as a Quantity Surveyor focused on M&E projects in North Yorkshire. Ensure successful management of a £12m subcontract account over a 2-year period.
This exciting opportunity is designed for someone with substantial experience in NEC projects, ready to collaborate within a friendly commercial team. You will handle an important M&E subcontract account through its entire cycle, from inception to completion, either on a fixed-term contract or freelance basis for 2 years.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the lifecycle of the £12m M&E subcontract account
• Ensure compliance with NEC contract requirements
• Collaborate within an established commercial team
• Prepare and manage cost reports and forecasts
• Engage with subcontractors to resolve issues
Requirements:
• Experience managing M&E works on NEC projects
• Senior Quantity Surveyor or MEP specialist background
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Commitment to project continuity for 2 years
