Contribute to the Windfall Project as a Short-Term Planning Engineer with Gold Fields in northern Québec. Lead the development of weekly, monthly, and quarterly mining plans in a collaborative environment.
As a cornerstone of the project’s planning efforts, you will report to the Planning Coordinator and spearhead short-term planning initiatives. This role requires you to define schedules, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with operational procedures. With a 15-13 work schedule rotation, you will enjoy benefits such as transportation, accommodation, and meals during your shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Define work schedules for short-term planning
• Monitor and adjust project timelines as needed
• Collaborate with the mining department for operational procedures
• Write reports and implementation plans
• Conduct field inspections and provide visible leadership
Requirements:
• University degree in mining or geological engineering
• Minimum of five years of mining experience
• Fluent in French and proficient in English
• Valid driver’s license and explosives license
• Member of Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
