The Role
You’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our clients and reinsurance partners. You’ll analyze and process client data, prepare and review billing statements and reports, investigate exceptions, and respond to inquiries that require thoughtful analysis and attention to detail. Building on your reinsurance administration expertise, you’ll identify trends, improve processes, and help ensure the accurate and efficient delivery of high-quality results. What You Will Do
- Review, analyze, and process client statements, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with treaty terms.
- Perform data analysis and validation using analytical tools and reporting to maintain data integrity.
- Identify opportunities to improve and streamline reinsurance processes through automation and process enhancements.
- Execute and enhance reinsurance processes using Microsoft Excel and Access-based tools.
- Monitor data trends, identify anomalies, and recommend corrective actions.
- Support monthly and quarterly administration cycles by managing exceptions, reviewing results, and ensuring process quality.
- Prepare data and supporting analysis for financial reporting.
- Partner with Claims, Underwriting, and Treaty teams to provide operational and analytical support.
- Contribute to projects by performing data analysis, documenting findings, and implementing solutions.
- Respond to internal and external client inquiries with timely, accurate, and professional service.
What You Bring To The Role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience reviewing and improving insurance administration processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organization.
- 3 to 5 years of insurance and/or reinsurance experience.
- Post-secondary education in business, mathematics, economics, or a related field.
- An insurance designation (FLMI, ALHC, or equivalent) is an asset.
- Experience implementing process improvements and automation solutions is preferred.
