As a School Bus Driver reporting to the Manager of Transportation, your primary duty will be to transport students and adults to diverse locations. This position provides flexibility with various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends. You will also be part of overnight trips, ensuring every journey is safe and enjoyable. A valid BC Class 2 Driver’s license with air brake endorsement is required to succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive students and adults as per transportation routes
• Assist on both local and overnight field trips
• Provide emergency first aid when needed
• Maintain the safety and cleanliness of the vehicle
• Perform other related duties as required
Requirements:
• Valid BC Class 2 Driver’s license with air brake endorsement
• First aid and CPR certification needed
• Clean driving record
• Successful completion of a criminal record check
• Flexibility in work hours is essential
