KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monthly financial close; including journal entry processing and general ledger account activity for accuracy.
- Produce timely monthly financial statements and other internal and external financial reports, as necessary
- Regular review and analysis of balance sheet accounts.
- Identify, analyze and investigate variances; working with business partners at a variety of levels.
- Preparation and recording of payroll journal entries.
- Support year-end audit functions; preparing backups and schedules, liaising with auditors, reconciliations as necessary.
SKILLS THE CLIENT IS LOOKING FOR
- 3+ years of working experience in a full-cycle accounting role.
- Experience in an (public) accounting firm highly valued.
- Able to manage large volumes of financial data.
- Strong Excel, with the ability to use a variety advanced functions (vlookup, pivots, etc.)
- Analytic review and problem-solving skills with the ability to make recommendations based upon data analysis.
- Self-motivated, organized, and requires little supervision.
- Good communication skills.
