Position: Senior Data Architect for Government Project )
Elevate your career as a Senior Data Architect with our client, the Provincial Government, enhancing their Digital Regulatory Assurance System. Work mostly remote while presenting onsite in Edmonton once a month.
In this impactful role, you will contribute to the Provincial Government’s data systems by reducing duplication and streamlining data structures. You should possess extensive experience in enterprise architecture and have expertise with tools like Power Designer or ERWin. The focus will be on creating analytics-ready data structures and preparing data for advanced analytics use cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and eliminate redundancy in monitoring report templates
- Design optimized data structures for analytics and reporting
- Maintain records of architectural decisions and their rationale
- Collaborate with data engineering on schema specifications
- Prepare data to support advanced analytics in platforms like Databricks
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- TOGAF Certification required
- 8+ years in enterprise solution databases
- 5+ years in Agile project management
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI
