We are looking for skilled Senior Field Engineers/Technicians to fill this pivotal role at Shermco Canada. You will conduct maintenance on low to high voltage systems, perform transformer and cable testing, and troubleshoot electrical equipment. Additionally, you will support the commissioning of critical electrical systems and respond to urgent service calls, ensuring safety and efficiency on every project.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform testing and maintenance on electrical systems up to 600 kV
• Conduct transformer and protective relay testing
• Test and inspect switch gear and breakers
• Collect, document, and analyze electrical test data
• Travel to customer sites for various projects
Requirements:
• 5+ years of hands-on electrical testing experience
• Electrical Engineering Technology diploma or equivalent
• NETA Certification (I–IV) preferred
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Physically capable of handling fieldwork responsibilities
