Our construction client is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to build and support scalable web applications and ERP platforms using Java/Groovy/Grails, SQL and Cold Fusion
Permanent. Located in SE Calgary. Hybrid work model of 3 day in-office and 2 days WFH
Must Haves
10+ years of experience as Full Stack Developer or Solution Architect using Java
, Groovy/Grails
, Microsoft SQL Server
, and Adobe Cold Fusion
Experience with Docker containers
, HTML/CSS/Java Script , and React-Native for UI coding
Strong proficiency in API Development and use of Postman for testing
Hands-on experience with modern development frameworks
, and managing Jenkins build setup and Git Hub repositories
Valid driver’s license and independent transportation (SE location with limited public transit)
Strong Nice to Have
Experience with
Experience in Microsoft Business Central
Experience with Dev Ops tools
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Soft Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communications skills

Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy robust software applications and services
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following established best practices
Participate in weekly stand-up meetings to review requirements and priorities
Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing systems to improve performance
Participate in code reviews to uphold quality and consistency
Contribute to architecture decisions and technical planning
Maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation for all development activities
