Senior Highway Design Engineer

At EXP, this position offers an opportunity to work on highway design projects involving new construction and rehabilitation of various road types. You will design preliminary reports, prepare contract specifications, and ensure compliance with client standards. Your role will also involve significant collaboration with contractors and clients throughout all phases of project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare design reports for new and rehabilitative highway projects
- Review drawings prepared by CADD staff for compliance
- Draft contract specifications and tender documents
- Mentor and coordinate activities of junior engineers
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and supervision teams
Requirements
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario
- 10+ years experience in consulting engineering
- Proficiency in Micro Station, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of MTO standards and approvals
