Join Aspen grove School’s Senior School team as a Learning Support Teacher. You will collaborate with educators and the Student Resource Centre to develop Individual Education Plans and foster an inclusive learning environment. Your strong empathy and organizational skills will guide students in navigating their academic journey and building confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver targeted interventions for diverse learners
• Develop and monitor Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
• Support students with time management and organization strategies
• Collaborate with teachers to adapt and innovate teaching materials
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
Requirements:
• BC teaching certificate or Independent School Certification
• Knowledge of IB MYP courses and BC Curriculum
• Understanding of neurodiversity including ASD and learning disabilities
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Legal entitlement to work in Canada
