Role Description
Multiple Immediate Openings | Senior Consulting Roles | Start ASAP
IntegraTouch is immediately seeking multiple Senior VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 9 Architects and Deployment Engineers to support complex, enterprise-scale private cloud transformation initiatives.
This is not a traditional VMware Administrator role.
We are looking for Architects who are also Engineers—senior consultants who can lead customer architecture and design discussions and then remain deeply hands-on through deployment, integration, troubleshooting, and operationalization.
Real-world, production VCF 9 experience is mandatory.
Training, certifications, home labs, research, demos, and proof-of-concepts are valuable, but they do not qualify as production VCF 9 experience for these positions.
What You Will Do
Depending on your area of specialization, you may:
- Lead customer discovery, architecture, and design sessions
- Architect and deploy production VMware Cloud Foundation 9 environments
- Deploy and operationalize VCF 9 Management and Workload Domains
- Design self-service and multi-tenant private cloud environments
- Build and manage VKS / Kubernetes environments
- Architect and integrate Avi / NSX Advanced Load Balancer solutions
- Design and deploy NSX networking, routing, security, and microsegmentation
- Build and configure vSAN clusters and storage policies
- Manage SDDC Manager lifecycle operations and upgrades
- Implement infrastructure automation and orchestration
- Integrate APIs, automation workflows, and third-party platforms
- Support modern application, Kubernetes, AI, and GPU-enabled workloads
- Troubleshoot complex production deployments and integrations
- Develop architecture documentation, implementation plans, and 30/60/90-day transformation roadmaps
- Advise customer engineering teams and senior technical stakeholders
- Defend architectural decisions and translate designs into working production environments
Required Experience
The strongest candidates will have:
- 10+ years of VMware and enterprise virtualization experience
- 5+ years of VMware Cloud Foundation experience
- 1+ year of hands-on VCF 9 experience
- Verifiable production experience architecting and deploying VCF 9
- Experience with VCF 9.0, 9.0.1, 9.0.2, 9.1, and/or other current VCF 9 releases
- Strong hands-on expertise across the core VCF stack, including:
- vSphere
- NSX
- vSAN
- SDDC Manager
- Experience supporting large, complex enterprise environments
- Current VMware / VCF technical knowledge and relevant certifications
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and customer-facing consulting skills
Priority VCF 9 Specializations
We have multiple openings and are particularly interested in candidates with deep expertise in one or more of these areas:
VCF Automation
- Self-service cloud consumption and provisioning
- Infrastructure and application catalogs

- Experience transitioning from or integrating technologies previously associated with Aria Automation and related VMware cloud-management platforms

Production Experience Matters Most
If you apply, be prepared to discuss a real VCF 9 production environment in detail.
We will want to understand:
- Which VCF 9 versions you personally worked with
- What you personally architected, designed, and deployed
- The scale and complexity of the environment
- Your specific responsibilities
- The most difficult technical problem you encountered
- How you diagnosed and resolved it
- The architectural decisions you personally made
- Why you chose that approach
- What you would do differently today
We are not looking for candidates who simply participated in a VCF 9 project. We want to understand what you personally owned and delivered.
Architects Who Can Engineer
These positions require professionals who are comfortable at both the whiteboard and the keyboard.
You should be capable of leading an architecture discussion with senior customer stakeholders in the morning and working directly with engineering teams to deploy, integrate, or troubleshoot the environment that afternoon.

If you are a pure architect who is no longer hands-on—or a hands-on administrator who has not led complex architecture and design engagements—this may not be the right opportunity.
Communication Is Critical
Strong communication skills cannot be overstated.
These consultants will work directly with enterprise customers and their full-time architecture, engineering, operations, and leadership teams.
Successful candidates must be able to communicate complex technical concepts clearly, lead discovery sessions, ask the right questions, present recommendations, document solutions, mentor technical teams, and professionally defend their architectural decisions.
Preferred Certifications
Current VMware / VCF certifications are strongly preferred, including:
- VMware Certified Professional – VMware Cloud Foundation Administrator
- VMware Cloud Foundation Architect
- Advanced VMware / VCF certifications relevant to your specialization
Certifications are valuable, but they do not replace hands-on production VCF 9 experience.
