Role Description
This is a full-time, remote Social Media Content Creator role.
In response to our continued growth, the CCFR is seeking a highly skilled Social Media Content Creator to enhance our dynamic social media team.
This is an additional role, complementing our existing social media staff, which includes a Social Media Manager and two content creators. The responsibilities of this position will be collaborative, yet all team members are expected to contribute actively to content development.
This position emphasizes a video-first approach, requiring proficiency in producing, editing, and packaging engaging content for various social media platforms. The ideal candidate will excel at transforming raw materials—such as podcasts, interviews, and events—into captivating, platform-tailored content.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and edit video content for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and X.
- Transform long-form content (i.e., podcasts, interviews) into concise, impactful social media clips.
- Contribute to the conceptualization, structuring, and storytelling of content with a producer’s mindset.
- Design basic visual assets such as thumbnails and social graphics.
- Assist in compiling and producing the weekly member newsletter.
- Collaborate with the Social Media Manager and team to achieve content deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in creating and editing video content for social media platforms.
- Strong producing instincts, including content planning, identifying key moments, and shaping narratives.
- In-depth understanding of content performance metrics and strategies for platforms like YouTube and Instagram.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
- Keen attention to detail and a strong commitment to maintaining brand consistency.
- Experience with industry standard production tools (e.g., Envato, Premiere Pro, Photoshop or similar platforms) is considered an asset.
- Proficiency in French (spoken and written) is considered a strong asset
Employment Details
- Full-time remote position.
- Compensation: $50,000 – $60,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
