About the role
Kendamil is looking for a Social Media Coordinator to assist with the daily management of our Canadian social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.We are seeking a creative individual who understands Canadian audiences and is passionate about supporting the growth of a family-focused brand across Canada.
In this role, you will help manage content planning, creator partnerships, publishing schedules, community engagement, and social media activity tailored specifically to the Canadian market. You will also contribute to developing a stronger understanding of what Canadian parents want to see from Kendamil online, including local trends, seasonal moments, common questions, and community discussions.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in developing and managing the monthly social media content calendar • Schedule and publish content across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
- Write engaging, on-brand social media captions
- Respond to comments and engage with the online community in a timely and brand-appropriate manner
- Repost tagged content and community mentions to Instagram Stories
- Source and coordinate with UGC creators
- Write creator briefs and communicate revisions/feedback to creators
- Organize and manage creator content deliverables and final assets
- Research Canadian-specific trends, holidays, seasonal moments, and parenting conversations
- Contribute creative content ideas tailored to Canadian families and audiences
- Monitor community conversations and identify content opportunities
- Support the team in ensuring content aligns with Canadian advertising regulations
- Assist with social media reporting and content organization as needed
- Collaborate closely with the broader North America marketing and social media team
Qualification and experience:
Essential
- 1+ year of experience in social media marketing, community management, or content coordination
- Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
- Excellent written communication and caption-writing skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines in a remote environment
- Creative thinker with an understanding of social media trends and internet culture
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Available to work EST hours
Desirable :
- Experience using Sprinklr or other social media scheduling platforms
- Experience coordinating UGC creators or influencer partnerships
- Familiarity with parenting, baby, or nutrition brands
- Understanding of Canadian social media trends and online culture
- French language skills are a plus
