About the Role
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Sourcing Data Analyst to support sourcing, forecasting, reporting, and vendor data management initiatives within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive data accuracy, reporting efficiency, and strategic decision-making through analytics and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain and optimize demand tracking databases and sourcing data tools
• Develop forecasting models, KPI dashboards, and reporting tools to support business decisions
• Conduct spend analysis and pricing analysis to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and sourcing insights
• Support vendor onboarding, item creation, and ERP data maintenance
• Ensure pricing updates and supplier information are accurately reflected within internal systems
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams to resolve discrepancies and support rebate collection initiatives
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to sourcing analytics, reporting, and digital tools
• Partner cross-functionally with operations, procurement, finance, and supply chain teams
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, Economics, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in data analytics, reporting, or a related analytical role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and provide actionable insights
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, formulas, and lookups
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools is considered an asset
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
