Key Responsibilities:
• Determine boundary and road layout for harvesting
• Assess riparian features and collect ecological data
• Create maps for boundary and road locations
• Identify logging hazards and complete reconnaissance
• Assist timber cruisers with data collection
Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year of forestry-related experience
• Post-secondary education in natural resources or forestry
• Valid B.C. Class 5 Driver’s License required
• Experience with chainsaws is an asset
• Ability to work remotely for scheduled periods
