Position: Summer Assistant for Teen Programs
Location: Dundalk
Join ECU as a Summer Assistant for the Summer Institute for Teens, promoting an engaging educational environment from June 10 to July 24, 2026. Support classroom logistics and student experiences.
As a Summer Assistant, you will work with teens aged 16-18, helping instructors with classroom management and enriching student engagement. Ideal candidates are advancing through their undergraduate studies in Education, Design, or Arts and have experience in educational settings.
Your role will help cultivate an inclusive atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
• Welcome students and record daily attendance
• Prepare classroom settings for engaging activities
• Assist with student support and interaction
• Help coordinate field trips and monitor students
• Support administrative tasks for program staff
Requirements:
• Entering third year in relevant undergraduate programs
• Minimum 1–3 months experience with youth
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to diversity and inclusion in education
• Punctuality and professionalism in all duties
