Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct swim lessons according to YMCA guidelines
• Develop and prepare lesson plans for sessions
• Establish relationships with participants for support
• Maintain cleanliness of the aquatic facility
• Communicate effectively with parents about classes
Requirements:
• Minimum age of 16 years
• Ability to observe proper stroke techniques
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Approval from aquatics coordinator required
• Certifications in CPR, AED, and first aid within 60 days
