Position: Temporary Full-Time Registered Nurse Groves Hospital
Become a key member of the Medicine department at Groves Memorial Community Hospital as a Temporary Full-Time Registered Nurse. Provide exceptional patient care while ensuring necessary certifications are in place.
This role requires a current College of Nurses certificate and certifications in BCLS, ACLS, IV starts, and defibrillation. The ideal candidate will have recent experience in medical nursing, particularly in palliative care, and demonstrate strong assessment skills. You’ll also be expected to engage in ongoing education and be available for all shifts, including weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality patient care in the Medicine department
• Manage IV medications and initiate IV access as needed
• Provide support in palliative care environments
• Serve as a charge nurse as required
• Maintain superior communication with patients and staff
Requirements:
• Current College of Nurses certificate of competence
• Recent experience in medical nursing and palliative care
• Commitment to continuous education and certifications
• Availability for all shifts and weekends
• Police Vulnerable Sector Check and health assessment needed
