As a Mechanic, you will work closely with the Transportation Supervisor to manage the repair and upkeep of diesel school buses.
Your role will include extensive experience with engine diagnostics, air brake systems, and maintenance practices according to industry standards. You should possess strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to safety and cleanliness in your work.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related systems
• Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks
• Use diagnostic software effectively for repairs
• Follow all safety regulations while working
• Ensure work area is clean and organized
Requirements:
• Required Motor Vehicle Repair Mechanic License
• Class 2B license with air brake endorsement
• Preferred minimum of three years of mechanical experience
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of safety procedures
