Position: Transportation Design Manager at Stantec
Lead major transportation projects with Stantec as a Design Manager. Oversee design-build initiatives, enhance client relationships, and advance project delivery in a full-time role based in Canada.
As a key member of Stantec’s Major Projects Team, your role focuses on managing transportation design build projects for large and mid-size construction efforts. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, oversee quality and risk management, and act as a technical leader throughout project phases. Successful candidates will help to maintain the company’s strong reputation while identifying new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee transportation design build projects
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams through various project stages
• Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines
• Promote partnerships to enhance project pursuits
• Develop client relationships and maintain reputational standards
Requirements:
• 15+ years in engineering/project management
• Experience with APD projects nationally
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensed or eligible
• PMP certification preferred
