Your role will be vital in delivering longitudinal family practice supported by strong community partners. Ideal candidates will have relevant experience in rural healthcare and a commitment to cultural safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct longitudinal primary care across multiple locations
• Provide inpatient and emergency services in Tofino
• Collaborate with Island Health and First Nations health services
• Engage in educational initiatives at the UBC Island Medical School
• Support community health projects through the Divisions of Family Practice
Requirements:
• Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC
• Relevant rural healthcare experience
• Ability to engage with culturally diverse populations
• ACLS certification is preferred
• Flexibility to work in various clinic environments
