Position: Vancouver Island Health Environmental Services Role

In this role, you’ll utilize specialized equipment to perform essential cleaning duties that enrich the environment at Island Health. You need to communicate well and possess the physical strength to handle various tasks effectively throughout multiple work sites.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive cleaning activities as necessary
• Clean surfaces through dusting, washing, and vacuuming
• Mop, strip, and polish floors while ensuring hygiene
• Manage bed making and garbage disposal effectively
• Maintain adherence to safety and cleanliness standards
Requirements:
• At least Grade 10 education or relevant experience
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective interactions
• Capability to manage physical workload and tasks
• Valid CRC for work with children and vulnerable adults
