Position: Vinyl Packer with Westlake
Contribute to Westlake’s production efficiency as a Vinyl Packer, ensuring product quality and precise packaging for transport on a 12-hour rotating shift.
In this role, you will pack vinyl products according to specifications while identifying and addressing defective items. Successful candidates will maintain high-quality packaging standards, ensuring proper sealing and transportation. Collaborate effectively with team members to support production goals while adhering to health and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Pack vinyl products from extrusion/injection lines accurately
• Identify and report defective products and equipment
• Prepare packaging and ensure boxes are properly sealed
• Maintain accurate piece counts for shipping
• Keep work area organized and safe
Requirements:
• Must complete Grade 12 or equivalent
• Experience in manufacturing is an asset
• Good communication and math skills
• Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
• Comfortable with lifting and using air-operated equipment
