Step into a key supervisory role with Blu Metric as a full-time Water/Wastewater Treatment Operations Supervisor. Oversee treatment processes, manage operations, and ensure regulatory compliance at the Yellowknife facility.
Blu Metric is seeking an experienced supervisor to manage various water treatment processes and facilities. You will monitor chemical dosing and filtration operations while coordinating Plant Operators and Trainees for optimal safety and efficiency. Your expertise will help ensure compliance with all federal, provincial, and municipal standards, and you will play a pivotal role in maintaining environmentally sustainable operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and monitor computerized control systems effectively
• Ensure accurate chemical dosing and filtration operations
• Conduct regular equipment checks to verify proper performance
• Collect and analyze effluent samples for compliance
• Supervise and schedule Plant Operators and Trainees
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of water treatment experience
• Level 2 or higher Water Treatment Operator Certification
• Previous supervisory experience preferred
• Experience in mining environments is an asset
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Lead a dedicated team in ensuring safe and efficient water treatment processes at Blu Metric’s Yellowknife site.
