Position: YARD ATTENDANT
Location: Petrolia
Custom Truck One Source Street, Acheson, AB, T7X 6C7
Work Hours & Basic Requirements
- Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, overtime as needed
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to work in both the shop and in the yard
- Knowledge of commercial trucks or related equipment is a plus
Summary
The Yard Attendant’s primary objective is to assist the shop in ensuring CTOS equipment is rental‑ready, to help with loading and unloading equipment, to maintain the appearance of the branch, to assist mechanics or other personnel with various labor‑based tasks, and to complete other daily assignments that support branch operations.
Job Duties
- Always maintain a safe work environment; obey safety rules; and wear required safety PPE
- Detailing inside and outside of trucks (wash bay)
- Operate a variety of light and heavy‑duty trucks on premises
- Assist technicians with repair work where additional hands are required
- May require occasional travel with field technicians to assist on field repairs
- Check in / check out of rental, sale, and used equipment
- Various labor tasks related to maintenance of the building, yard, shop, warehouses, or equipment
- Routine tasks include sweeping, emptying trash, and similar duties
- Perform any other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Parts and service or related experience required
- Proficiency in common computer software (MS Office Suite) and inventory software
