We are currently recruiting a Yard Laborer to work out of our yard located in Nisku.
Wage
- $20 – $26 per hour depending on experience, negotiable

Duties/Responsibilities
- Assist the Yard Manager with any duties he needs help with
- Yard inventory counting and management
- Unloading and loading materials
- Yard cleanup and organization
- Installing temporary fencing, guardrails, handrails, and barriers
- Assist carpenters and laborers with duties related to building formwork for shipment to site
Working Conditions
- Monday to Friday 6:30 am to 3:45 pm
- Overtime and work on weekends as required
- Long term, steady, year-round work
- One paid 15 minute break and one ½ hour unpaid lunch break per day
- Combination of inside and outside work. Appropriate dress required
Competencies
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Positive attitude towards safety
- Punctual and reliable
- Self-motivated
- Willing to learn
- Manual dexterity, mechanically inclined, physically fit
Requirements
- Steel toe boots required
- Experience operating an aerial work platform is considered an asset
- Experience running a bob cat is considered an asset
- WHMIS 2015 required (we can provide)
- Reliable transportation to and from Nisku
