Position: York Region Process Optimization Engineer Role
Drive advancements in water treatment with York Region as a Process Optimization Engineer. This temporary position offers a hybrid work model and immediate onboarding.
As part of the IAM Water Wastewater team, you will perform on-site evaluations and troubleshoot conventional and advanced treatment processes. Your focus will be on optimizing operations and ensuring adherence to relevant regulations. Collaborating with diverse stakeholders, you will enhance operational effectiveness through innovative strategies and training initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Track and analyze operational parameters for treatment systems
• Recommend new technologies for operational improvement
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance protocols
• Assist in developing operational guidelines
• Engage with consultants on feasibility studies
Requirements:
• Completed University Degree in Engineering
• Valid Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) certification
• Five years’ experience in water treatment systems
• Deep understanding of water treatment regulations
• Proficiency in teamwork, communication, and project leadership
