Position: Yorkton Casual Lifeguard Role
Become a Casual Lifeguard at the Yorkton Water Park, focusing on water safety and fitness programming. You will perform lifeguard duties and instruct various aquatic activities while maintaining pool safety and operations.
We seek candidates who possess at least a grade 10 education, with certifications like the National Lifeguard Award and Standard First Aid/CPR-C.
Your role will involve close collaboration with Lesson Supervisors to ensure activities run smoothly, along with completing incident reports and participant evaluations. Expect a variable schedule primarily based on shift work that may include early mornings and weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct lifeguard duties under National Lifeguard protocols
• Assist Lesson Supervisors with program implementation
• Deliver water safety and fitness instruction
• Complete daily incident and participant reports
• Handle assigned administrative and cleaning tasks
Requirements:
• Grade 10 education or higher
• Certification in Standard First Aid/CPR-C or Aquatic Emergency Care
• National Lifeguard and Swim4
Life Instructor certifications
• Excellent fitness levels and interpersonal skills
• Required RCMP security clearance and vulnerable sector check
